It was a cold but lovely day today and good for practicing with my camera. Gave this local scene some HDR treatment.

Have now received my Canon 60D and every setting requires another look at the manual for the umpteenth time. Still, I’ll get there eventually. This is one of the local Scalloway Castle with enhancement.

Drumming To An Impatient Beat

I’m lost without my camera

It succumbed to spots and dust.

It’s gone to Fuji hospital

As cleaning is a must.

On its return, my daughter

Its new owner she will be.

As I await the firing

Of a Canon 60D.

The waiting time seems endless

Though I know it’s only days.

And my hands hold only memories

Of a camera and its ways.

The two words ‘Anne’ and ‘patience’

Do not go hand in glove.

But a girl without her camera

Is like a kiss without the love.

Oh, There You Are!

I have just found many posts from the lovely bloggers I follow in my spam folder. I have no idea how this happened and I was thinking that things had become a little quiet in the blogging arena. I will check my spam folder from now on and if it continues I will have to look into it. Now, I’m just off to see what delights are in the 45 missing blog posts. :-)

I took some shots of broken windows on a small motor boat that was tied up at the local town waterfront. I added some colour and that is about as artistic as I get. LOL!
